Mining Company should Properly Operate the Rotary Kiln

The kiln is a cylindrical vessel, inclined slightly to the horizontal, which is rotated slowly about its axis. The material to be processed is fed into the upper end of the cylinder. As the kiln rotates, material gradually moves down towards the lower end, and may undergo a certain amount of stirring and mixing. Hot gases pass along the kiln, sometimes in the same direction as the process material (co-current), but usually in the opposite direction (counter-current). The hot gases may be generated in an external furnace, or may be generated by a flame inside the kiln.

The movement process of the material in the kiln is as follows: the raw material is fed into the machine from the cold end and burned into clinker by way of the heat exchange in the process of moving towards the warm end. The movement condition of the material inside the equipment has significant influence on the uniformity of the temperature of the supplies layers.

Cement rotary kiln is mainly used for burning cement clinker, which includes dry type cement production rotary kiln and wet type cement production rotary kiln. In steel metallurgy industry, metallurgy chemical kiln is mainly used for plant lean iron ore magnetizing roast, chromium, nickel-iron-oxidizing roasting, high bauxite ore roasting in refractory materials plant, etc. Lime kiln (active lime kiln) is used to roast active lime and light-burned dolomite in steel factories and Ferroalloy plants. According to the exterior, rotary kiln can be pided into altered diameter rotary kiln and drift diameter rotary kiln; according to the usage, it can be pided into cement rotary kiln, clay-grain rotary kiln, kaoline rotary kiln, lime rotary kiln; according to energy supply, it can be pided into gas rotary kiln, Coal-fired rotary kiln and Mixed fuel rotary kiln.

We will introduce you wet rotary kiln processing and make some analysis. Generally wet rotary kiln body is slightly longer (length rate is 30-40). In order to increase heat transmission scale, we usually add chains at the kiln tail part to accelerate water evaporation. During wet rotary kiln production, we add water into raw material mill, and make it as slurry material with water content 30%-40%. After mixed completely, the standard slurry is sent into kiln for burning, after which it becomes clinker. The clinker out of kiln will be sent into cooling machine for cooling, and then sent to clinker store.
