The Mississippi Health Project brought primary medical care to the rural Black population across the state for six summers. On March 22, 2012, a forensic audit of Alpha Kappa Alpha’s 2010 financial records revealed troubling concerns with past president, Barbara McKinzie’s development and access to a “secret” bank account.
